Aluminium 7050 pipes and tubes are highly sought-after forms of aluminum alloys due to their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, machinability and heat treatability. Composed primarily of aluminum with alloying elements including zinc copper magnesium. Heat treatability offers enhanced mechanical properties during precipitation hardening of aluminium 7050 alloy.
Aluminium 7050 pipes and tubes stand out with their impressive high tensile strength, making them suitable for applications requiring structural integrity under high stress conditions. Furthermore, their toughness and fatigue resistance makes them great choice for aerospace, military uses where reliability is of utmost importance. Their corrosion resistance further makes Aluminium 7050 an attractive material to use in harsh environments like marine or industrial settings.
Aluminium 7050 pipes and tubes offer lightweight advantages that make them suitable for industries where weight reduction is paramount, including automotive and transportation industries. Their low density contributes to fuel efficiency as they allow lightweight yet strong components to be constructed easily while their machinability allows intricate designs with precise manufacturing allowing use in various engineering applications.
Aluminium 7050 pipes find widespread application in aircraft structures such as fuselages, wings and landing gear components. Their combination of strength and lightness enables greater fuel efficiency and overall performance improvements while their corrosion-resistance ensures longevity even under demanding flight conditions.
Aluminium 7050 tubes are widely utilized in the production of armoured vehicles, naval vessels and weapons systems due to their robustness and resistance to deformation - ideal qualities for withstanding ballistic impacts and explosive forces while their lightweight properties help increase mobility while remaining durable.
Aluminium 7050 pipes and tubes offer great advantages to automotive companies due to their weight-cutting abilities without compromising strength or safety. Used extensively across chassis, exhaust systems and heat exchangers - leading to enhanced fuel economy and performance - these components play a pivotal role in automotive systems such as chassis management.

Melting and Casting
Steel and alloying metals are loaded into an electric arc furnace. Once in the furnace, the metal is heated to a specific temperature above its melting point, usually in excess of 2800°F.
Rolling and welding
Aluminum Pipes & Tubes may undergo rolling processes to refine their dimensions and improve surface finish. Welding techniques like TIG or MIG welding are utilized for this process
Cleaning and heating phase
These Pipes & Tubes are subjected to cleaning to remove the dirt. Further, a heat treatment is given to these rolled pipes and tubes to remove the stresses that may occur due to welding and formation processes.
Cold - drawing process
The Pipes & Tubes are coated with oxalic and soap solution. In the cold drawing process, the tube or pipe is drawn over the bench using Die plugs.
Finishing process
The stainless tubes or pipes thus produced will undergo certain testing and quality checks. This process is followed by proper packing and dispatch.
