What Are Aluminium 1100 Pipes and Tubes?
Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes are composed of commercially pure aluminium alloy known for its superior corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, which often makes these tubes useful in applications requiring formability, weldability and moderate strength - often found within industries like HVAC, refrigeration or aerospace.
Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes are constructed of premium aluminium alloy 1100, known for its outstanding corrosion resistance properties. As such, these pipes and tubes make ideal solutions in environments prone to moisture exposure or harsh conditions - whether this involves outdoor structures or industrial settings, Aluminium 1100 ensures long term reliability with regards to longevity and durability.
In addition to its corrosion resistance, Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes boast excellent machinability. This property allows for smooth shaping, cutting and drilling processes as well as fabrication processes facilitated by these versatile materials. From precision engineering projects to general construction work sites - Malleability of aluminium 1100 tubes makes them versatile materials which save both time and resources when working with.
Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes offer exceptional weldability, making for seamless integration into complex structures and assemblies. Their weldability also guarantees strong joints and connections enhancing system integrity - be it automotive manufacturing or architectural projects; making fabrication processes faster while increasing production output and assembly speed.
Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes find widespread application across industries. From automotive components to HVAC systems, these pipes and tubes serve an integral function. Their combination of corrosion resistance, machinability, and weldability makes them suitable for environments in which reliability and performance are critical components.
In industrial settings, Aluminium 1100 pipes and tubes are utilized in pneumatic systems, conveying fluids and gases efficiently. Their corrosion resistance ensures longevity, even in demanding conditions. Additionally, they find applications in structural frameworks for buildings and infrastructure, where durability and reliability are essential. Their versatility extends to transportation industries, where they're used in the construction of lightweight yet durable components.

Melting and Casting
Steel and alloying metals are loaded into an electric arc furnace. Once in the furnace, the metal is heated to a specific temperature above its melting point, usually in excess of 2800°F.
Rolling and welding
Aluminum Pipes & Tubes may undergo rolling processes to refine their dimensions and improve surface finish. Welding techniques like TIG or MIG welding are utilized for this process
Cleaning and heating phase
These Pipes & Tubes are subjected to cleaning to remove the dirt. Further, a heat treatment is given to these rolled pipes and tubes to remove the stresses that may occur due to welding and formation processes.
Cold - drawing process
The Pipes & Tubes are coated with oxalic and soap solution. In the cold drawing process, the tube or pipe is drawn over the bench using Die plugs.
Finishing process
The stainless tubes or pipes thus produced will undergo certain testing and quality checks. This process is followed by proper packing and dispatch.
