Aluminium 1050 sheets are an aluminum alloy known for their superior corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity and exceptional formability. Composed mainly of pure aluminum (over 99 percent purity) combined with small amounts of copper, iron, silicon and zinc elements, Aluminium 1050 sheets provide an adaptable solution suitable for numerous industrial and commercial applications.
Aluminium 1050 sheets boast exceptional corrosion resistance, making them highly suitable for outdoor applications or environments where moisture or harsh weather conditions could pose problems. Their corrosion resistance also extends product lifespan while decreasing maintenance costs while increasing durability.
Aluminium 1050 sheets stand out for their high thermal conductivity, their exceptional heat transfer properties make them the ideal material for applications that necessitate efficient heat dissipation such as automotive, aerospace and electronics manufacturing, where heat dissipation plays an essential part in performance optimization. This characteristic makes these sheets particularly valuable to use.
Aluminium 1050 sheets exhibit exceptional formability, enabling them to be quickly bent or formed into intricate designs without deforming or cracking under pressure. Their versatile nature lends them well for use in many manufacturing processes including stamping, welding and extrusion - perfect for architectural panels, automotive body panels or kitchenware applications where unique requirements may require them.
Aluminium 1050 sheets have become popular choices among industries where weight reduction is of vital importance, including transportation and aerospace. Their lightweight nature enables easy handling and installation processes while their lower density contributes to fuel savings on vehicles as well as simpler handling practices.
Aluminium 1050 sheets have outstanding electrical conductivity, making them essential components in electrical transmission and distribution systems. From power lines to enclosures, their use ensures efficient power transfer while minimising energy losses.
Apple Steels is a prominent manufacturer, supplier and stockist of Aluminium 1050 sheets in Mumbai, India. We manufacture these Aluminium 1050 sheets in compliance with national and international quality standards in various specifications as per the requirements of the clients at the most reasonable prices.
Melting and Casting
Steel and alloying metals are loaded into an electric arc furnace. Once in the furnace, the metal is heated to a specific temperature above its melting point, usually in excess of 2800°F.
Forming
Most cast steel is formed by hot rolling—the slab, bloom, or billet is heated and passed through large rollers, stretching out the steel into a longer, thinner form.
Heat Treatment
Heat treatment strengthens rolled steel by recrystallizing the deformed microstructure. Most steel is heat treated by annealing.
Cutting or Machining
Steel is cut to a specified shape and size. The steel can be sheared with circular knives, sawed with high-speed blades, or blanked with punches.
Finishing
Steels can be made with a wide variety of surface finishes. The chosen surface finish is not purely aesthetic. The type of finish is determined by the intended application.
